Hosting specification
A practical foundation for business websites, with the quantities and responsibilities agreed before setup.
- LOCATION
- Canadian-hosted options. Your proposal names the web hosting location; backups, mail and third-party services are considered separately.
- APPLICATION
- WordPress and compatible PHP/database websites. Custom software and unusual dependencies need a compatibility review.
- RESOURCES
- Storage, database use and workload limits are specified per service. No unlimited-capacity promise.
- TRANSPORT SECURITY
- SSL configuration for the agreed web hostnames. HTTPS protects transport; it is not a guarantee that an application is free of vulnerabilities.
- RECOVERY
- Daily off-server backups. Retention, restore requests and recovery responsibilities are set out in the service agreement.
- DOMAIN & EMAIL
- Domain registration remains yours. We review DNS and email requirements; existing external email can remain separate.
- NOT ASSUMED
- Content editing, redesign, paid plugin licences, application development and third-party subscriptions are not automatically included.
